Are You Ready For Jesus To Come Back?
Because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. (Romans 10:9)
“Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven.” (Matthew 7:21)
Let me ask you a question. “If Jesus came today, are you ready?” Has there been a moment in your life when you turned from sin and placed your faith in Christ? Have you given your life to Christ? Are you ready for Christ’s return? If it happened today, are you ready? Are you ready?
If you are depending upon, “I took communion last month,” you are not ready. If you are counting on, “I grew up going to Sunday School,” you are not ready. You might say, “I'm a member of the church.” If that is where your hope is based, you are not ready to go. You could say, “I was sprinkled,” or “I even got dunked.” If that is your focus, you are not ready. Sadly, you will be left behind.
This is the correct answer. You know you are ready if there has been a moment in your life when there has come a conviction of your personal sin, a sense of separateness from God. Because of that sin and brokenness in your heart, because of that rebellion; there came a moment when you fell at the feet of Jesus and asked Him to come inside your life. You asked Him to forgive you of all your sin and take control of your life. If you have had a moment like that, you are ready! Accordingly, let me ask you a question. Are you ready?

There was a time when I was 11 years old that I accepted Jesus as my Savior. I lived my life after that with Jesus as my friend. It wasn't until I was 43 years old that I needed to give Jesus my heart. I did that then and have been living for Jesus ever since.
I am so thankful that my Lord Jesus Christ did not give up on me, and convicted my heart that I was a sinner and in need of a Savior. I praise Him that he did not quit searching for that lost sheep, me.
