Worship Jesus, Not Your Pastor
Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever. – Hebrews 13:8
Don't ever worship a pastor because they will let you down. They will do that because they wear a skin suit, just like you. When they point a finger at you, they have three fingers pointing back at them. Your faith should never be based on a leader. Instead, it should always be focused on Jesus Christ. He is the only one who will be consistent day in and day out.
He is the only one who will make a difference in your life. Jesus is the one who changes us. He may use one leader, two leaders, three leaders, or a myriad of leaders in your life to help shape you and mold you. But always keep your eyes on the author and the finisher, the Alpha and the Omega, Jesus Christ.
I pray that your love for Him never grows cold. He is not to be number one in your life; He is to be your life! Our lives are to be wrapped up with Him. As we stay in love with Christ, knowing that we count on Him for everything, that is where deep maturity comes. Regardless of what occurs in someone's life, our faith is rooted in Jesus and Jesus alone!
As our culture changes, aren't you glad that Jesus does not change? As relationships come and go in your life, Jesus does not change. He is the same, yesterday, today, and forever. When everything changes, Jesus never changes.

I have seen Pastors in earthly situations where I know they aren't higher than anyone else. I have been led to look to Jesus. He is my life. I always need guidance from my Savior
Christ and Christ alone! Come Holy Spirit! God bless us all!
