Stay Near The Cross
May I never boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, through which the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world. – Galatians 6:14
As long as we stand at the foot of the cross—where the ground is level—we will be okay. The cross is the great equalizer, reminding us that no one is better or worse than anyone else. Our sins were equally paid for by Jesus’ sacrifice, and that is where our focus must remain.
In a world that is often consumed by political debates and distractions, it can be easy to lose sight of what truly matters. While the cross certainly has things to say about politics, marriages, and every area of our lives, the ultimate focus for us as believers must be on Christ’s sacrifice. When our eyes are fixed on Jesus, everything else finds its proper place.
As a church and as individuals, our priority must always be to stay near the cross. Let Christ’s sacrifice shape our thoughts, actions, and decisions, rather than the noise of the world around us.
“Jesus, keep me near the cross” should be our constant prayer. When we live in the shadow of the cross, we are reminded of God’s great love and grace, and we can trust that we will be okay as long as we remain rooted in that truth.

Jesus, Keep me near the Cross ✝️ ? Amen
It is sad that the world is so full of distortions that it doesn't know how we are to truly live. Everyone wants what they want for themselves with no regard to the consequences or how it may be hurting other people. For me:Jesus keep me at the foot of the cross ✝️ ?
