Dependence Leads To Peace
And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. – Philippians 4:7
Scripture tells us that we are to be dependent on the God who gives peace. True peace is only found when we become God-dependent, not self-dependent. My mind can easily wander into dark places, and it doesn’t take much to trigger my anxiety, especially when I see situations spiraling out of my control.
So, how do we find peace in the middle of a firestorm, regardless of where it started? The only way to have real peace is to keep our eyes on Jesus. He alone can bring calm to the storm, no matter how strong it is. Sometimes, right in the middle of disaster, when you take that next step forward, even if you don’t know what the future holds, God will give you a peace that surpasses all understanding.
It’s a peace that stands firm when most people are falling apart. It fills you with a resolve and a quiet confidence that says, “God is in charge, and He is in charge of my life.” Being dependent on Him is everything. He is the only One who can ever give you this kind of peace.

I don't know how unsaved people make it through life. I would be lost without the peace that Jesus gives to me to make it through stressful times.
