Walking in the Light
Those who walk righteously and speak what is right, who reject gain from extortion and keep their hands from accepting bribes, who stop their ears against plots of murder and shut their eyes against contemplating evil -- they are the ones who will dwell on the heights, whose refuge will be the mountain fortress. Their bread will be supplied, and water will not fail them. (Isaiah 33:15-16)
As believers, the way we live should be evidence of our faith and devotion to Jesus Christ. If we are following Him, our words, actions, and interactions should reflect that relationship. These are several signs which indicate whether or not we are faithfully following Christ:
1. Do you walk in the light?
It is very important that we answer the question, “Are we walking in the light?” If you are comfortable walking in darkness and sin, you will never have any confidence that you are a child of God. If you have truly given your life to Christ, the outside of your life should agree with the inside. The outside will look like the inside. When the outside and the inside are not the same, there is no confidence.
2. Do you obey His Word?
You will want to obey God's Word because you have fallen in love with Jesus. You desire to align with Him because you know Him; you will obey His Word because you actually have a relationship with Him. He wants us to align with all of His Word, not just part of His Word. We tear pages out of the Bible if we don't like a certain part. We want to redefine what is right and what is wrong based upon what the culture says. We need to stand firmly on the Word of God and align with the Word of God. We need to ask ourselves, are we seeking to please the world? Or are we seeking to obey the Word of Jesus Christ?
3. Do you love fellow Christians?
Have you ever been hurt deeply by someone who calls themself a believer? They said something or did something that hurt your feelings, and it was painful. Sheep bites get infected very quickly, and they can strongly affect your spiritual life. Do you know why? Because you expect Christians to act like Christians. Remember, you are not the Holy Spirit. God will deal with the people who hurt you; you don't need to worry about them. Here is the crux of the matter: Do you love fellow Christians, even when they don’t act lovingly toward you?
Is there something on this list that is convicting you? In living out your faith, do you need to work on a particular area? If so, I pray that you would talk to your Heavenly Father and ask Him to help you continue to address these areas of your walk with Him.

I will keep asking my Savior to help me walk with Him each day. It needs to be more evident that I belong to Jesus. May I be a better witness for Him
Each and every day I ask. God for a closer Walk in his Word. I seek a closer Walk with My LORD And Savior JESUS CHRIST. Thank YOU Lord GOD Almighty. Help me to do Thy Will.
Help meLord Jesus to walk in the light as You are in the light. Help me to be like you in my every day life. Forgive me where I fail You. Search my heart and see if there be any wicked way in me and lead me in the way of righteousness in Jesus name. Amen.
