Align with Christ
For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. (Romans 6:23)
When we understand why God created us, we can identify our God-given purpose. You might be wondering, “What am I supposed to do next?” Now that you see why God put you on this earth, these are some ways to align yourself with Him and fulfill His purpose and plan for your life:
Instead of asking, “Why is this happening to me?” ask, “God, since you are the Creator, what do you want to recreate in me, so you receive glory through this situation?”
Once you do these three things, you will be well on your way to living out God’s purpose for your life. This will bring Him the glory and honor He deserves.
When we understand why God created us, we can identify our God-given purpose. You might be wondering, “What am I supposed to do next?” Now that you see why God put you on this earth, these are some ways to align yourself with Him and fulfill His purpose and plan for your life:
- Receive Jesus by turning from sin and being born again. The most important decision you could ever make is to accept Jesus and turn away from your sin, so you can be born again. Don’t focus on religion. Instead, focus on your relationship with the Savior. You cannot give glory to God until you first begin a relationship with Him, and you do that by turning from your sin and placing your faith in Christ.
- Reframe your worldview to align with God’s purpose and plan. Many Christians say they love Jesus, but they choose to think from a secular perspective. Your life is not split between secular and spiritual. It should all be lived through a spiritual filter. It doesn’t mean you can’t read and absorb information that is given from a secular worldview. As you take in that information, your foundation should be in Christ and in the worldview that Scripture provides.
- Redefine your present situation to answer a different question. When life doesn’t make sense, many people ask, “Why is this happening to me? I didn’t deserve this.” If we are honest, none of us would be here right now if God had given us what we really deserved. We need to redefine our present situation in light of Scripture, This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins. Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. (1 John 4:10-11)
Instead of asking, “Why is this happening to me?” ask, “God, since you are the Creator, what do you want to recreate in me, so you receive glory through this situation?”

Amen, need to be focused on God's will and way. And not my own.
I need to redefine my way of thinking to how I can give God the glory in my life situations. I need to remember that Christ is in me but also that I am in Him. I want to live glorifying Him each day. May do so this day. Thank You, Jesus
I Love YOU FATHER and Thank You for The Word and The Way. Help Me to listen to the Holy Spirit's Guidance. PRAISE JESUS for My Salvation !
