Help Bear Their Burdens
Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves. (Philippians 2:3)
As sinful human beings, it is easy for us to be full of ourselves. In fact, most people struggle with a narcissistic attitude where they think they are too good, too busy, or too important to be involved in connecting with people.
When you are full of yourself, this will keep you from being involved in the lives of people. That's what the Scripture says. If you are not involved, it is because you are full of yourself.
You might think, “I don't want to deal with that person because they won’t do anything for me.” Something is preventing you from truly bearing the burdens of other people, like God wants you to do. It is simply because we are full of ourselves.
We should have the attitude that our brothers and sisters are more important right now than our needs. What they are going through is critical. God has allowed us to be right here, right now, to come alongside them. Take this opportunity to be an encouragement and meet that need in their life. Therefore, it would be in our best interest to put aside our selfish desires and instead step in to help those who need it. After all, Jesus laid down any selfish desire or ambition for our sake. Let’s cheerfully follow His example.

This is a great word, challenging us to be more others focused. Stepping out of our comfort zone to be led by the Spirit where He can make a difference. Praise be to God! Thanks for sharing.😊
I have recently stepped out of my comfort zone to help others. It feels good to be serving the Lord. I need to be more loving like Jesus
Every day I recognize the Blessings that GOD has given me. I also recognize the need to be more like JESUS in the Way I view others. Help me FATHER to do Thy Will.
