Hope in Trials
“For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,” declares the Lord. “As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.” (Isaiah 55:8-9)
What are you walking through right now? What circumstances are you facing? What trials and tests are you experiencing?
As you answer these questions, are you wondering why you are facing these trials? Do you struggle with wanting to know the reason behind your struggles? Why is this happening? God will give us hope in the middle of our trials. Scripture tells us, In all this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while you may have had to suffer grief in all kinds of trials. (1 Peter 1:6)
Scripture makes it very clear that we will experience trials of various kinds. Remember what Jesus said, In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” (John 16:33)
Whenever you go are going through something, ask God to give you insight and wisdom. The Holy Spirit could provide the insight you are seeking. Open your heart, open your mind, and allow Him to speak to you.
