Trust God with Your Finances
One gives freely, yet grows all the richer; another withholds what he should give, and only suffers want. (Proverbs 11:24)
Years ago, I pastored a church in Houston. We had a family in our church; they were going through a disastrous financial time. They were upside down financially. His business had failed, and he was having a difficult time. They tried to do all kinds of maneuvering to get out of their situation. This is the problem; he wasn't a believer. He didn't believe the Bible. She was a believer, and she would drag him to church.
Finally, she said, “The Bible says that God blesses those who tithe, and He will pour out from heaven many blessings. We have tried everything except tithing. Why don't we try that and see if God will help us?” He said, “We’ve tried everything else. I don't believe the Bible. You know that I don't believe in Jesus, but let's give it a whirl, and see if it works.”
They started tithing, giving 10 %, and suddenly things started happening. God began to bless his business in a big way. Once they began to experience the financial blessings that came from the Father, the light came on in his mind. He said, “Sweetie, if doing what the Bible says is true, and it definitely is true here, then maybe what the Bible says about Jesus is true, too. We started tithing and we have never tithed; maybe I need to deal with that.”
He ended up getting saved, and this family won a new believer! He came to faith in Christ because he started tithing. Isn't that wonderful? Many Christians who get saved are wrestling with tithing. He became a believer because he started to tithe, and he saw God working in his life.
Have you been struggling to trust God with your finances? Have you wondered how you could possibly give 10 % back to the Lord when money is so tight? The New Testament stresses that giving should be cheerful and proportionate. Scripture tells us, “Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.” (2 Corinthians 9:7)
I hope this man’s story is an encouragement to you and challenges you to trust God with your finances. He will bless you for your obedience.

I know tithing is a hard thing to do. But I have been blessed since I have been tithing. God takes care of me. And helps others with it, too
I need help with my Tithing. God knows what I mean. PRAISE The Lord ..Help !
I personally love to tithe and always has from the time I started. Look at it this way, our money belongs to God anyway. We just govern over it. If it wasn't for The Good Lord giving us the strength to go to work we wouldn't have this money. He takes care of us so in return we need to give back cheerfully to the Kingdom of God. It's just that simple.
