Be The Church
"Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved." - Acts 2:46-47
Going to church for many people means showing up for the services, listening to the sermons, and maybe talking to a few people before you scurry off to your car and head to lunch. But being part of the church body is about so much more than just showing up.
Think about Acts 2:46-47. Back then, the early Christians didn't just go to the temple on Sundays. They also met in each other's homes. They ate together, prayed together, and supported one another. They were like a big family, united in their love for God and each other.
Being part of the church body means being connected. It means caring for each other, helping when someone needs it, and celebrating together. It's about sharing life, not just a pew.
Think about it like a puzzle. Each piece is different, but they all fit together to make a beautiful picture. That's what the church is like. We're all different, but we belong together, helping each other become the best we can be as we all strive to be more like Christ.
So, let's not just go to church. Let's be the church. Let's be there for each other, support each other, and show God's love in everything we do. When we do that, we're not just attending church – we're living out Acts 2:46-47, and that's something truly special.

I have never been just a church goer. I love to be serving in some kind of compacity. I have gotten to know more people that way. And reaching out to the community.
Dear Heavenly, Father May our lives be an offer of worship to You as we serve our immediate family, our church family, our neighbors and those outside of Christ. May we encourage one another daily and meet each other's needs in the name of Jesus with the gifts You have given us for Your glory and namesake. Amen. ðŸ™
