God Won’t Give Up On You
Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the LORD your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. – Deuteronomy 31:6
When you blow it spiritually and you make some terrible decisions that affect your life and your family's life, Satan will tell you that God has washed His hands of you.
Satan whispers to you, “You got yourself into this predicament. Now get yourself out. God is judging you and you are done!” He is a liar and a condemner. He is the father of lies! Don’t believe Satan's lies about you and don't believe them about your children, either. Don’t buy into his agenda.
God gives His children a promise, “Never will I leave you nor forsake you.” You can't do anything where God will say, “I'm done with you. I am taking my salvation away from you, and you are on your own.” That is not the personality nor the character of our God!
There is a good possibility that you will trip spiritually and fall flat on your face at some point in your life. For some of us, our faces are a little dented spiritually because we have tripped over our own two feet many times.
Because our God is a good Father, He will pick us up, dust us off, and give us words of encouragement to begin again. I love saying this, “Our God is the God of the second chance, the third chance, the fourth chance, and infinity.” He doesn't give up on you, so don’t give up on Him.
