Did God Really Say That?
Now the serpent was more crafty than any of the wild animals the Lord God had made. He said to the woman, “Did God really say, ‘You must not eat from any tree in the garden’?” The woman said to the serpent, “We may eat fruit from the trees in the garden, but God did say, ‘You must not eat fruit from the tree that is in the middle of the garden, and you must not touch it, or you will die.’” “You will not certainly die,” the serpent said to the woman. “For God knows that when you eat from it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.” (Genesis 3:1-5)
In Genesis Chapter 3, Satan questions your knowledge about what God actually said. Remember what he said to Eve, “Did God really say…?” Although Satan was addressing Eve, Adam was very close; he was hearing this. We are living in a world today where preachers and teachers are making up what God has said or reinterpreting what God said. This is why you need to be a student of the Word of God.
When our students go off to college, they will meet professors who operate with this principle; the students will be attacked for what they believe. They will be asked questions, “Do you really believe that? Did God really say that?” We hear that all of the time. Many people have studied the book of, “I say yah,” from the mouths of other people. They have no idea what the Word of God actually says. That's why you need to be a student of the Word of God.
You need to learn what the Word of God says. That's why you should be in a small group. Your purpose in being part of a small group is more than having a community connection; it is to learn what the Bible actually says. There are thousands of people who are spiritually ignorant and they don't really know the Word of God.
That is how Satan takes a step to destroy you and your family; he literally questions your knowledge of what God actually says. Consequently, we must be prepared with the knowledge of God’s Word so we know the truth of the Bible. Thereby, we can’t be easily persuaded by the lies the enemy tries to feed us.

Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path.
That is why I liked the group I was in. We helped each other with our concerns and got into the Word to study what it says
PRAISE GOD, Thank YOU JESUS. The Way, Truth, and Life . GLORY to GOD !
