Stand on the Word of God
All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work. (2 Timothy 3:16-17)
You cannot be part of a church without believing the Bible. The church is not to be a social club. The church is not to be a political force. The church can make an impact on our social lives, and should make an impact on the political decisions that we make. More than anything, the church needs to be a place where we stand on the Word of God, preach the Word of God, teach the Word of God, embrace the Word of God, and celebrate the Word of God. It points us to Jesus who will change our lives.
When I found out that the Bible is a treasure trove of gems and nuggets for my life, I couldn’t help but want to read it over and over again. I pray the same is true for you. As believers, we should wholeheartedly believe the Word of God. I know that many churches don't take that kind of stand. Pastors in our community and all over the country are cheapening the Word of God by never reading from it. That's not a church!
Do you remember what Jesus said? “Heaven and earth will pass away, but my word will never pass away.” (Matthew 24:35) That's why we believe the Bible. If you believe the Bible, surrender your life to the God of the Bible, and apply the Bible to your life; then you are part of the family of God.
If you are not studying God’s Word, I pray that you will make a commitment to spend time reading your Bible every single day. The Word of God is a gift to the children of God. We can’t live without the Bible if we want to honor and glorify our Heavenly Father. When you stand on the Word of God, your life will be changed forever. Very importantly, you will have an impact on the people God places in your path.

I love to read the Bible. It speaks to me all the time. I learn something new all the time
Too many churches in middle of America are more social and less Jesus. Spend time with friends and family after service talking about the words from the Pastor and not about the football game or other issues.
You've got 6 1/2 days at home to text/call to do that.
Amen !
I am trying to do God's Will. PRAISE JESUS
I wish I could find somebody to read the Bible I have trouble with my eyes and makes it hard for me to read amen
How about an audio Bible?
