Verbalize Your Faith
Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” (Matthew 28:18-20)
These words are Christ’s final marching orders to His disciples. Very importantly, they also apply to us as His followers today. Our job is to lead other people to Christ, to encourage them to have a faith of their own, and to help them grow and mature in that faith.
Nothing will make you feel more alive than when you begin to verbalize your faith. You have no idea what God can accomplish through you, if you are willing to use your words to spread His message of hope.
Think about it this way. If you knew the cure for cancer, wouldn’t you tell other people about it? Of course, you would! If you begin to share this incredible news, you will help so many people overcome their physical pain and experience healing. The same goes for sharing your faith in Christ. When you tell others about Jesus and His selfless, unconditional love for them, you are giving people information that can deliver them from spiritual pain and suffering. You are offering them supernatural healing. What an incredible mission we have!
Are you talking to anyone about their need for Jesus and His answers to their questions? Are you verbalizing your faith to those who have yet to surrender their life to Christ? This is the greatest assignment I could possibly give you during this wonderful Resurrection season.
That is why Jesus came. That is why He died. That is why He came alive again. He wants to save us. When we have a personal relationship with Jesus, we can point others to Christ, so they can be saved and have that same relationship with Him. Don’t be afraid and don’t be shy. Verbalize your faith, and tell someone about Jesus today!
