Fellowship
Therefore encourage one another and build one another up, just as you are doing. (1 Thessalonians 5:11)
Have you noticed that all of Jesus’ post-resurrection appearances are primarily to groups? That is important; don’t miss this fact. In all of my decades of doing ministry and reading the Word, it suddenly jumped out to me that God wants to minister to His children in a group. If there was ever a time when you should be committed to a group, it is now.
Many people say, “I'm not a member of any church. I'm just going to all the churches.” If you go to all the churches, you are committed to none! You need to realize that fellowship is important. If you have made television and online streaming your convenient spiritual pillow, don’t allow that to become your only experience with church. Instead, make it the exception in your life and a resource for you to share with other people.
We need to realize that fellowship is very important. Do you realize that who you hang around with makes all the difference? As believers, we need to be in relationship with other believers. Alcoholics Anonymous is a great resource for people who need encouragement, people who are struggling in that area of chemical dependency. In a similar way, the church is for “sinoholics,” there to guide and support people who are dependent on their sin patterns.
As a body of believers, we need to be with each other and encourage one another. That is God’s plan. I don't know about you, but I need you in my life. You need me in your life. Fortunately, we need each other. That's true fellowship.
If you are not connected in fellowship, I pray that you would take a step toward fellowship today. Join a small group. Ask a friend to share a meal or a cup of coffee. Decide where you will attend church in person on Sunday, if you are able. Your life will be so much better if you make it a point to engage in Christian fellowship.

I love being with other Christians. It is a great encouragement to me. It is also great to fellowship with them outside of church. It helps me stay connected to my Lord
My church, its members and the 3 great pastors are foremost in my life. I can't imagine life without a church.
I am involved in a church now actually where I graduated high school and it has been the best thing for me personally! I have grown spiritually. Good Expository preaching and teaching!
