Align with the Lord
Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths. Be not wise in your own eyes; fear the Lord, and turn away from evil. (Proverbs 3:5-7)
Andrew Murray gave us a better understanding of prayer. He said, “Prayer is not so much trying to get God to align with you, but rather it helps you align with where God is going.” This is exactly what needs to happen in our lives.
Don't just go to church, watch a sermon on TV, or read a devotional and say, “Well, that fixed me up today.” It is an everyday choice. In every moment, say, “God, I want my thinking to align with you. I want my life to align with you. I want my steps to align with you.”
When you admit that your steps are going in the opposite direction, and you turn to Christ, things will change, and peace will come. That is what our world needs. Although you might not be able to change the world, you can change the direction where you are headed. It's a personal choice.
If you have never given your life to Christ, I pray that today would be the day when you turn from sin and place your faith in Christ. I pray that the light would go on, and God would reveal to you with a spotlight upon your life, how you are standing with Him right now.
If you are a believer, and you have given your life to Christ, what has caused you to take a step back? What has caused you to say, “I'm just going to be a casual observer now, rather than a participant?” Are you choosing to see things like the world sees them and living like the world?
Unfortunately, we spend more time with people who influence us to live for ourselves rather than spending adequate time alone with the Father in our prayer closet. Make sure that every moment and every desire aligns with Him. Maybe you need to get a “spiritual alignment” so that you are aligned with Christ’s plan.

I have learned to start each day with the Lord. It gives me the time to get aligned with Him. It is a personal choice and a necessary one. I love spending time with Jesus

My favorite time of The Morning is 1st. Thanking God for The New Day and Spending time With The FATHER . He Strengthens Me !
My alignment is on tippie toe, spending my all for church days, while my time has been spent in the world and its' preferences. How do I make the necessary change?
