Make Peace With God
And through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether things on earth or things in heaven, by making peace through his blood, shed on the cross. - Colossians 1:20
When I look at all of the war treaties historically, I’m fascinated. After the American Revolutionary War ended, the treaty was not signed into validation for over two years. The Treaty of Paris made it a reality.
After World War I ended, The Treaty of Versailles officially said World War I was completed. It took almost a year for that treaty to be validated after the last shot was fired.
With World War II, the Paris Peace Treaty and the Treaty of San Francisco were used to end the war. It took about a year after the last shot was fired to make true official peace.
When you look at these major wars and treaties, you would say, “That's crazy! Why couldn't it have happened sooner?”
In sharp contrast, you don't have to wait that long to have peace with God. The moment you see what Jesus did for you on the cross, the moment you turn from your sin, and you turn to Christ, instantaneously, you have peace with God! The war is officially over!
Let me ask you a question. Over 2,000 years have passed. Isn’t it about time that you settled and signed the peace treaty with God? Maybe you have been in church a long time. You know lots of Bible verses. You can say all of the books of the Bible in order correctly. That’s wonderful. You can have all the knowledge.
But beyond just having all of the knowledge, you have to truly repent of your sin and place your faith in Christ. You must make a total commitment to Christ. Unless that has happened, you will split hell wide open! The war can be over and God has offered you total clemency, and total forgiveness, where you can begin again if you will choose to make peace with Him.
I don't know about you, but that gets me very excited. I pray that it gets you excited to know Him and share Him with others. If you have never given your life to Christ, I pray that today would be the day. Come to the cross! As a believer, if you have strayed away from the cross, come back home. The Lord is waiting for you.

It is very exciting to accept Jesus as my Savior. And to live my life for Him. It is just as exciting to see someone else accept Jesus as their Savior as well ðŸ™
I thank Jesus for His shed blood for my sin and giving me a life of purpose in serving Him to the glory of God our Father. I have peace in knowing I am counted righteous in the eyes of God because of Christ Jesus in me the hope of glory. I depend on His mercy and grace everyday and His steadfast love to see me through to the finish line in the life's journey on earth to eternity in heaven. Thank You, Jesus..
