Focus On The Sacrifice Of Jesus
Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever. – Hebrews 13:8
When Jesus died on the cross, He did something unimaginable—He who was sinless became sin for us. Crucified between two thieves, Jesus took all our sin—past, present, and future—upon Himself. He became the ultimate sacrifice for humanity, allowing us to be reconciled with God. This is a truth we must never lose sight of. The cross isn't just a symbol of Christianity; it's a powerful reminder of what Jesus accomplished for us through His sacrifice.
God did something for us that we could never do for ourselves. He allowed His only Son to carry the weight of every sin we’ve ever committed. In that moment of unimaginable pain and separation, Jesus cried out, “My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?” (Matthew 27:46). For the first time, Jesus experienced a severing in His perfect fellowship with the Father, all because of the sin He bore on our behalf.
As believers, our greatest focus must remain on Jesus and His work on the cross. His sacrifice is the foundation of our faith, and it’s what gives us the hope of eternal life. When we gather as a church or in our personal time with God, we should never let our attention stray from the One who made our salvation possible.
Christ is unchanging, as Hebrews 13:8 reminds us. His love, sacrifice, and mercy are as real today as they were 2,000 years ago. So let us remain mindful of what He did for us, constantly keeping the cross and His sacrifice at the forefront of our hearts.

Thank you. However, we are not reconciled automatically by just saying IAM a Christian. We must first truly accept Him. God knows our heart. Proverbs.21:2
