The Light of Christmas
“Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.” – Psalm 119:105
Christmas is a season of light, and that light begins with God’s Word. The birth of Jesus fulfilled centuries of promises, illuminating God’s faithfulness and love. Just as Psalm 119:105 reminds us, Scripture is our guiding light. When we align our lives with its truth, we discover clarity and purpose. This Christmas, let the story of Jesus’ birth inspire you to seek God’s Word daily, allowing it to light your path as you follow Him.
Christmas also reminds us of the beauty and importance of family. Mary and Joseph’s journey to Bethlehem demonstrates faithfulness, courage, and the strength of unity. At the manger, we see a humble yet powerful picture of love and togetherness, even in the simplest of circumstances.
However, the season can also bring pain—reminders of loss, broken relationships, or unmet expectations. Even in those moments, God invites us to celebrate the gift of love. Reflect on cherished memories of those you’ve loved and take time to appreciate those you have with you now.
This Christmas, let the light of God’s Word and the warmth of relationships guide your heart. Celebrate the faithfulness of a God who keeps His promises, the beauty of family, and the hope found in Jesus. As His Word lights your path, may His love fill your life with peace and joy that carries far beyond the season.

I have the peace and joy of Jesus 'love within my heart. Thank You Heavenly Father for sending Jesus to earth to be born as a baby and live amongst us. And to die on the cross to save us all from death.
Christmas blessings Betty?
